The Congo Nile Trail is now one of the famous destinations to add on when planning your visit to Rwanda. It follows the divide between the vast Nile river water basin and the Congo River water basin in the western chain of mountains in rwanda. The trail takes you along Lake Kivu from Gisenyi to Kibuye through rural settlements, many small fishing villages, banana, coffee and tea plantations with the wind breeze of the lake.
