Cycling from Kigali to Kamonyi
- Start your day with a delicious breakfast at a local cafe/restaurant or your accommodation.
- After a car transfer at the beginning in Gatsata, you will begin your cycling journey by climbing one of the beautiful rolling Kigali hills in Karuruma at 1393m heading to the north of the city.
At 8 km(1980m) you will be already at the top having a stop for drinking water to prepare for your next exploration.
Continue cycling through eucalyptus forest towards kanyinya suspension bridge where can stop taking pictures,
- Ride towards Shyorongi where you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant or your packed lunch. Enjoy some Rwandan cuisine or international dishes.
Continue your ride towards the south west where there is a long descent from 16 km (1759m)to 21km (1371m) visiting local beer breweries and cooking oil factory in Nzove from there you will cycle along Nyabarongo river heading to TR5 hotel in Ruyenzi for your night stay.

Cycling from Kamonyi to Kicukiro
Start with breakfast at your accommodation and start riding your bike heading to the east to Nyabarongo river and ride along with it.
Continue your cycling journey along the river banks by following designated cycling trails or roads.The route provides scenic views of rolling hills, terraced landscapes, and local communities.
- Stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot by the river.
- Interact with local farmers and observe their traditional farming techniques, if opportunities are available.
At the end of your cycling adventure, upon return to your hotel, you can relax and have dinner at your accommodation or explore local dining options in Kicukiro/Kigali city.
